AP Biology
AP Biology is equal to college freshman Biology that includes Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Physiology, Plant, Ecology, Evolution, and Taxonomy. If student got 5 on AP Biology, they may be able to waive the Biology class at freshman.
SAT II Biology
The class level of SAT II Biology is between G9 Biology and G11 AP Biology. Normally, students need to know some of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biotechnology. G9 Biology may not be enough for better SAT II Biology Score. We will enhance Chemistry knowledge of students .
Biology Honor / Biology
Biology and Biology Honor provide basic understanding of life science. It spins from G8 Science class. It gives the student some point of view about cell, tissue, organ, body system operation. It is an introduction class for Biology.
AP Chemistry
AP Chemistry is equal to college freshman Chemistry that includes Atom structure, Quantum Chemistry, Stoichiometry, Gas Law, Thermodynamics, Reaction Rate, Chemical Equilibrium, Acid & Base, Nuclear Chemistry, Electrochemistry. If students got 5 on AP Chemistry, they may be able to waive the Chemistry class at freshman.
SAT II Chemistry
SAT II Chem is equal to G10 Chemistry Honor that include Atom structure, Quantum Chemistry, SAT II Chem contains Stoichiometry, Gas Law, Thermodynamics, Reaction Rate, Chemical Equilibrium, Acid & Base, Nuclear Chemistry, Electrochemistry. The Test focuses on Chemical Concept and tries to simplify the calculation.
Chem Honor / Chemistry
Chem HR spins from G8 Science class. It includes Atom structure, Quantum Chemistry, Stoichiometry, Gas Law, Thermodynamics, Reaction Rate, Chemical Equilibrium, Acid & Base, Nuclear Chemistry, Electrochemistry. School also has lab session to train student about operating chemical lab and learn Chemical safety knowledge.
AP Physics
AP Physics is equal to college freshman Physics that needs Calculus, Vector, Analytical Geometry Knowledge. This may be the most difficult science class at High school. It includes, Dynamics, Energy, Coulomb force, Thermodynamics, Electromagnetic force, Nuclear Physics, Waves, Material Science, and Circuit components. If student got 5 on AP Physics BC, they may be able to waive the Physics class at freshman.
SAT II Physics / Physics HR
SAT II Physics is between AP Physics and Physics. It needs Pre-Cal level Math capabilities. Some of school class level is close to AP Physics ( Monta Vista High). If you are non-science major, you may skip this class. This class is good for Engineering major students.
Physics
Physics provides basic understanding of Physical World. It spins from G8 Science class. It is an introduction class for student to understand Physical Phenomenon in our daily life. It focuses on Physics concept and has less calculation than Physics Honor.
SAT II Math
SAT II Math is beyond Algebra II. Students need Trigonometry, Analytical Algebra, Probability, Function, and Polynomial function, Reverse Function, Log and Exponential, Pre-Calculus. 50% of questions need graphic calculator for the test. Because test is under timing pressure, it requires students to learn some special skills for quickly solving the questions.
Algebra I/II
Algebra I/II cover basic Math for Senior High School. It contains numerical calculation, Factor, function, inequality function, Absolute Value, Analytical Geometry, Complex number, probability. Some school may contain Trigonometry.
Geometry
Geometry is a special field of Math. It contains lots of prove problem that include Triangles / polygons /Circles. Also need Boolean Logical and congregation theory for some prove questions. Lots of Theory needs to remember and apply to questions. Some of difficult prove questions may need auxiliary line method to solve.
Math Analysis
Math Analyse is close to SAT II Math Level and is a preparation class for Calculus. Students need Trigonometry, Analytical Algebra, Probability, Function, Polynomial function, Reverse Function, Log and Exponential, Limits. It need graphic calculator to do some homework.
Pre-Calculus
Pre Calculus is close to SAT II Math Level and is a preparation class for Calculus. Students need Trigonometry, Analytical Algebra, Probability, Function, Polynomial function, Reverse Function, Log and Exponential, Limits. It needs graphic calculator to do some homework.
Calculus
Calculus is equal to college calculus. It includes limits, differentiation, integration, application for differentiation and integration especially in Physics. Also 2D and 3D plane, Analytical Geometry include inside the course.
